Tony has been trained with us for over 1 year. He has been always supportive, and willing to share his tips and experience with junior members.
After ‘keiko’, in order to celebrate his birthday, we recreated a Samurai duel scene, Tony-san stood in the middle and fought each of us. (Please note: Duals were held consecutively. It was not a pile-on and appropriate safety and Kendo standards were dutifully observed)
A cake is essential for an occasion like this. To say thank you so much for what you have given, and I hope Brisbane Kendo Club has also given what you are after.
The high light of the day: While we are taking photos “Sorry I have to be in the middle, coz it’s my birthday” Tony-san
